Saw this on MarketWatch, re CES:  Sony introduced a sort of clock-radio for the 21st century that it calls a Personal Internet Viewer. The small Wi-Fi device, called the Dash, is best suited for a bedroom nightstand or a kitchen counter. It can access the Internet, play music and videos or be used to check the latest sports scores and weather.

Looks like Sony is introducing a "Chumby".
