Topic: Hulu widget?

Fairly self explanatory, a widget for Hulu that would let one browse through all the stuff on Hulu and view it.

Re: Hulu widget?

I don't know what "Hula" is.

Novell's Hula project appears to be dead, so I assume it's not that.

Re: Hulu widget?

Duane... I think the OP means http://www.hulu.com/ or possibly http://www.openhulu.com/

It allows you to watch TV on the net.

Re: Hulu widget?

Shoe got it. Openhulu would be nice, but that could be shut down anytime (if/when the Hulu guys want it down) so Hulu would be a safer bet. Basically, it is legal, free TV shows delivered through flash.

Currently in (closed) beta right now, so to get in you have to get an invite. To get one, you either go through the main page (you give them your email address, and they give you an invite eventually) or you find an offer online to get one instantly. An instant invite offer can be found at http://www.hulu.com/beta/wired (just put in an email address, and you get one instantly).

I would love to watch Firefly on my Chumby, so if anyone finds themselves interested, you have one tester monkey ready to test your Hulu widget.
