hey, i'm new around here and just wanted to clarify something before i got one;
If I get a Chumby now, before the official release, it will be updated at the time of the official release so that it is exactly the same as if I would have waited to buy it?

yes. the hardware is "frozen"... the only differences now are updates to the software.

And, if you didn't realize, you can play with a Virtual Chumby,
Which is just about as close as you can get to the real thing.
I didn't realize that before I got mine, and wish I had.
