I'm new to this forum, so forgive my mild ignorance on the subject of chumby.

I've had my chumby for just about a week. No major problems, but I noticed day before yesterday that when the alarm goes off, I only hear static. The sound worked fine later that same day, but yesterday and this morning the sound was only static, instead of the alarm beep or bugle.

I tried resetting, unplugging him and plugging him back in; still no good. Only static where there is supposed to be sound.

Suggestions, anyone? I'd hate to send it in for repair or something if this is an easily-fixed problem.
