what is the quickest, easiest way to set an alarm?
"Alexa, set an alarm for 5:20 am"
(ducks and runs)
Going through the menu I think is the only way -- and it doesn't take that long.
Why do you even post here?
Your answer was less than of no value.
You think I was asking for help just for your own amusement?
For any of the rest of you folks I was looking for the steps involved in setting an alarm. If an answer is provided, we can then have recess, maybe some cookies and milk and some playtime.

It's my personal mission to annoy just you (and maybe Diamaunt).
Also, I think my answer was accurate:
"Going through the menu I think is the only way -- and it doesn't take that long."
If you have a dash, you already know the steps to set an alarm through the menu. They haven't changed.
If you don't remember, sony still has the manual available to download:
https://docs.sony.com/release/hidc10_qs.pdf
You have my most humble apologies if I assumed you were a dash owner and had at some point set alarms and was looking for a faster process.
Let's try and remember that here in the chumby world, we're friendly and often somewhat playful...
Though I did want to smack jhonryan for his first answer

But the 2nd one was OK?

It's ok with *me* (because I could "accidentially" delete your account if I wanted to ) ... but I think the vague attempt at humor might have been lost on jimt29.

I'm like a bad penny. Besides, if you "lost" me you would miss me.

Thanks...the link was helpful. It confirmed using the Menu was the way to do it.

Not lost. Just disappointed that he felt it necessary. Humor at another's expense is generally lost on me.

I'm sorry you felt it was at your expense. It wasn't. That kind of humor would be insulting to you or qualities you posses -- and since my "joke" did neither of those things it wasn't "at your expense".
I'm glad you got your answer.
Now SMILE! Government satellites are watching you!

I thought this was funny. Made coffee come out of my nose when I first read it! (not really, but I did snicker a bit)
