This article's been floating around the web this week, republished 100 times. Obviously there's some truth behind it. But it was based on a few remarks by "former CEO Derrick Oien," who is the last person I would believe about anything regarding the state of Chumby. He's a self-described "entrepreneur" who led Chumby down some stray paths, got some media recognition, and left without even turning off the lights.

Rather than writing "Chumby no more," too bad nobody writes about how much activity and innovation has been going on here. One ex-employee and some great community members are doing some very cool things, 5 months after being declared dead. I was really happy to see a couple of new widgets posted this week!
