Topic: Porting Android to Run On Chumby Original / One

I have a Chumby Original (350 MHz i.MX21, 64 MB of SDRAM) that I haven't used much... probably been turned on less than 10 times..      anyone know what would be involved to run Android on it?

I've read chumby and android are both linux-qt based, but not sure if there's some technical limitation that would make it difficult to port..  like an encrypted boot rom or something like that.   Especially since I haven't seen anybody do it yet it, makes me think it's not trivial.

Perhaps if too much hardware/software modding is involved, a beagleboard might be for android experimenting?http://labs.embinux.org/index.php/Android-Eclair_porting_guide_to_BeagleBoard

I would be interested in general how to port android also to Chumby  Classic.

Are there a Chumby emulator for PC, so that people can test /compile software in it and easier to port into Chumby device?

I also have a fairly unused Chumby original. Not a coder, but if anyone proceeds with this project, I'd be happy to help with any testing.
