Topic: iPhone, iPod support for infocast
I have a question, is it possible to compile the source code for ipod support from the falconwing software version to the infocast and recompile the kernel?
Btw I am running Ubuntu

I don't think you even have to recompile it - however, the Control Panel does not have the support to show a UI for it.
Can I still use ssh and use btplay or chumbyipod command. If so I might make an app for playing the ipod's music
Would this allow me to charge my iPhone 3GS from one of the Infocast 8" usb ports? Right now it's telling me it's not a supported device for charging when I plug in.
Thx
Believe it or not, Apple's actually added DRM to the power system - at least some of the devices can no longer be charged from unlicensed sources, including the iPhone 3GS.
