Topic: Chumby Picks appear randomly (unwanted)

Hello,

within the past weeks I've noticed, that "Chumby Picks" appear randomly although I didn't configure it to show up.
Even while the alarm was active in the morning the "Chumby Picks" screen shows up a few times sad

Is this a bug or how is it possible to disable "Chumpy Picks" for sure?

You can't disable it, its the advertising widget that chumby industries pushes to the chumby.

IMHO that should be changed, because if it comes up at e.g. alarm event it may destroy the desired flow one configured for the widgets in that channel.

Moreover there is a "Chumby Picks" Widget for everybody who wants to use it - so why push it to someone who isn't interested in this widget?

you can delete it if it shows up, it happens to be chumby picks now, but it may be an advertisement for something else at other times. There are plenty of posts on this already, its how chumby inc pays for chumby.com and all the bandwidth and storage. The widgets in the chumby picks are those created by companies who sponsor chumby.
