Topic: no widget without connection

hello


today for about 1 hour the internetconnection had an error. yes, webradio or stream will not work. but:


i thought the widget are locally on the chumby so i just could use a clock widget or a game. that was not possible. "no connection" was displayed an no channel was availlable.


what is to do to let all or the most) widgets be placed locally in the chumby.


its a bad mistake that all widgets will not work without internetconnection.

Do a forum search on "Offline" - you will find a post by Christian offering some modifications to run widgets even if the connection is lost. Works like a charm.

i have to read it -  not an easy way.
