This is an old message, but I didn't see it addressed subsequently (I apologize if I missed a latter message somewhere in here), so I thought I'd respond:
WNYC AM 820 (News/Talk, NPR - 32k):
http://www.wnyc.org/stream/am.pls
WNYC FM 93.9 (Classical, NPR - 32k, 128k):
http://www.wnyc.org/stream/fm.pls , http://wnychi.streamguys.com/listen.pls
(couldn't get the 128k to work on Chumby)
WYNC2 (Classical 24/7 - 128k):
http://www.wnyc.org/stream/wnyc2.pls
I agree with another post that recommended against adding local NPR stations to RFC. However, WNYC2 is different as it is classical music 24/7.
Let me add one other possibility: Vermont Public Radio's stream of the BBC World Service at:
http://www.vpr.net/vpr_files/stream_pla … bc_mp3.pls
The reason I recommend it is because (I think) it's the only BBC stream that is not in RealPlayer format.
Also, to address the growing number of requests, what about several RFCs? For example:
RFC1 - News/Talk/NPR
RFC2 - Classical/World
RFC3 - Jazz/Blues
RFC4 - Rock/Pop
etc., etc.
Just a thought.
