Looks like the latest release of Windows 10 has removed "WiFi Sense" i.e. the automatic sharing of WiFi credentials with contacts. They claim that that the required resources to maintain it weren't worth it given the low uptake.  More likely is that it didn't make any sense (how does the contact's laptop get the WiFi credentials from Microsoft's cloud if they aren't connected to the network?).

It does set an interesting precedent that Microsoft call and will unilaterally remove a featured function of the operating system.
