Topic: Working Chumby One mainboard needed (most likeky).

One of my Chumby One units had a USB chipset failure it seems, still gets 5V out both of the ports, so it looks like it is all over.  The data lines head directly to the USB chip thru a resistor, so not much to replace on that path.

Just wondering if someone had a working mainboard they don't need from a parts unit.  Seems like a waste to have to buy another complete unit when this was working so well before.  Still boots up and waits for network.

You may want to check eBay for a "parts" Chumby, they show up every now and then.  Often times it looks like the Chumby has suffered a power supply failure or screen failure, so the mainboard should still be good in one of those.  Of course if someone around here has a parts Chumby already and would be willing to part with their mainboard, that might be a more efficient route smile
