Topic: Can't find 30Gb EC2 AMI

On the "Quickstarting OE" wiki page, it says:

The AMI for an EBS image with 30GB of space (enough to build a large number of packages, but not eligible for the free tier) is ami-840871d6.

I found the 10Gb AMI by its ID, but would prefer the 30Gb one. However, I can't find the 30Gb one by using the AMI ID that's given on the Wiki page.

Is there a new AMI for the 30Gb one (as there was for the 10Gb one)? If not, is there an easy way to resize the disk volume in a snapshot of this AMI?

Re: Can't find 30Gb EC2 AMI

There's a new AMI updated by Bunnie on the 8th from memory, it is on the Wiki...

Re: Can't find 30Gb EC2 AMI

On the 8th, he added the new AMI for the 10Gb image, but didn't change the AMI for the 30Gb image.

The AMI for an EBS image with 30GB of space (enough to build a large number of packages, but not eligible for the free tier) is ami-840871d6.
The AMI for an EBS image with 10GB of space (eligible for free tier but not a lot of space to build) is ami-ee176ebc. NOTE: AWS has notified us that we needed to remove the SSH keys on the image to prevent a security breach, so a new AMI should be used: ami-062c5454.
