Thanks for your advice.
Is this a question?
If so, you set a static IP when you configure the network - when it asks for address allocation, select "Manual" instead of "Automatic". It will then prompt you for an IP, mask, gateway IP, and DNS IPs.
Thanks Duane!
I am using Chumby Classic, I tried the setup procedure again, can't find the option through the screen.
Is there a way to change some file in /psp/ ?
Thanks.
Depending on your wireless router features, you may be able to assign the Chumby a static DHCP. I do that with many of my devices so if they ever leave the house I can still connect to wifi easily without changing settings.
Thanks Duane and TheWalt.
