The rt73 works great on the Chumby hacker board... but I've got some other RT73 units i'm trying to make work on a BeagleBoard, using ubunutu 10.10 armel binaries.  hostapd is wickedly unhappy with the stock rt73usb.ko and stock driver stack.  Do you Chumby folks have some magic patches that work around the quirks in the RT73 to get it to play as an AP?
