Topic: Sodaplay widget

Good morning.  I am looking into initiate a Sodaplay widget. more info

I contacted Soda Ltd to inquire about a Sodaplay widget for the Chumby platform.  The individual who responded displayed mutual enthusiasm about the Chumby & it's platform.  He showed interest but commented on Soda Ltd.'s lack of development resources & asked if I knew of someone who could help with port id.

Anyone who has ideas, know how or interest please respond as I believe the result of creating a Sodaplay widget would be a terrific step for both of us.

Hi there, I am the sodaplay person and yes would be interested and could help a developer keen to do this. Sodaconstructor would be a logical starting point i think. The Sodaplay apps are currently written in Java. best Fiddian

The issue see that might be a problem is it looks like all the cool things on the website are java apps. The chumby doesn't have java installed on it and I am not sure how they would run after you installed java on the chumby.  But maybe you also have flash content, I didn't look at a lot of the items.
