Topic: Text Input Is Sorely Needed

Hello All,

I read the topic on text input, and disagree with it. Since having to fire up my laptop to change a zip code (that's 5 numbers) on a weather widget is a bit ridiculous and a BIG waste of time. I'd take a full on-screen keyboard over the current nothing and spend my time learning to type on it (fyi: I touch type on my Blackberry, so anything is possible). So, please bring text input to the chumby!!!

If a widget creator wants to add text input to his/her widget, he/she's completely free to do so.  The "ChumbyChat" widget, for instance, has a keyboard.

Hello Duane,

Oh, I didn't realize that. Weird it's not a universal feature. I haven't found one widget (none of the weather or clock with zip codes) have this feature.
