Topic: Chumby asks for date/time on reboot...

When my Chumby locks up and I have to reset it with the power button, it will reboot then ask me for the date and time.  Why doesn't it get this info from the internet.  It is a pain having to put it in on every reboot.

Re: Chumby asks for date/time on reboot...

That's odd... I've done hard reboots on mine (frequently, not because it's always hard-locked, but because I'm too impatient to hit "reboot") and not had the issue... Does it do it every time? Perhaps it's taking longer to get a connection to the internet to pull down the network time?

Are you using the beta control panel? It now has an option about whether time is automatically reset.

Control Panel --> Clock --> Set time automatically from the internet

Good luck!
