Being the gadget lover that I am I can't help but to notice this product. Before I buy however there is one thing on my mind

Does the screen shut off after so much time of in activity, and if so is it possible to set it to not shut off.

One thing I hate most about gadgets with lcd displays is that they always have some sort of power saver or screen saver to shut the display off after a few min without any sort of way to not turn off. I would like to be able to set this thing up and 'forget' about it, like just being able to glance over at it. Or like if i have it set as an alarm clock I would like to be able to see what time it was without having to hit a button on it if I woke up in the middle of the night
