Using the Daniel Willmann kernel image i'd alerady compile opie for chumby using openembedded.

And it looks like you have no problems with the colors. I'm assuming that you didn't change anything in kernel land or somewhere else, but that it worked for you out of the box?

I'm using you kernel image. with "my" opie image using your kernel drivers.
I can't compile a functional kernel image with openembedded

I'd already install opie-mediaplayer, when i try to play a mp3 file i listen some periodic pauses and the console shows a lot of the following messages:



Alignment trap: opieplayer2 (2512) PC=0x40a4b5d0 Instr=0xe591c038 Address=0x0009316b FSR 0x001

Ooooh, that's pretty neat! I used to run Opie on my Zaurus... I may have to give this a try.
