Hello everyone,

I have a widget that I'm working on that, if appropriate, would display onscreen for a default time.  However, if no relevant information needs to be passed to the user, would an instant termination of the widget be ok?  The may cause a longer period of black in a channel, but would allow for more of an 'alert' style of delivery.
