I want to control X10 devices from my Chumby, via a USB->serial adaptor. I've got it working pretty well, except for the interface. Is there a way I can get Flash to communicate with local processes? I basically just need to write a file and call a program, or call a script with some parameters. I guess I could run lighthttpd, but that seems like a really crufty way to do things...
