Topic: Chumby USE in Canada

Hello, I got a chumby for christmas and I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I saw that you cannot ship them to Canada and that you are awaiting going through the process. I was wondering, though. Will the chumby WORK in Canada now that i actually have one? If, yes, is there anything special i need to do to make it work there. And of no, is there a way to know when it might be available (ie should i not keep it but maybe get another gift this year for christmas and maybe wait til it is ready to be used there?)

Yes, they will work in Canada - for that matter, anywhere in the world with a thick enough Internet connection to the US.

Great! Thanks! so i assume that 'thick enough internet connection' means any internet connection. I have a regular (high speed - cable) internet connection with a wireless router at home. It is an IP address that is through a canadian company (Rogers) but  i assume it will work just fine. Let me know if otherwise...
