So is the microphone object not available in the Chumby or is it a Flash Lite thing? Does it first need to be turned on/configured via command line linux?

Unlike desktop Flash, the current release of Flash Lite does not support microphones.

Apparently this is partially due to the mobile carriers not wanting the possibility of VOIP in their handsets.

HUmm... that's going to make those visualization widgets that much harder. Is there another way to 'monitor' the speaker output from Flash Lite?
