Topic: current tzdata outdated

Current tzdata in Chumby is a bit outdated i think (for some countries).
Can we expect some sort of update or patch from of sever side or i can continue to fix it manually?
Also, are there any specific tips for it in case of Chumby or it's like in rest of common linuxes?

tz stuff seems to be a favorite thing for some countries to fiddle with, the number of times my ubuntu updates tzdata is really surprising.

Cleaning up any loose bits and bytes.
