I am not much of a program but wanted to see how hard it would be to create a widget. Is the process still the same now? If you create a widget, how can I install it? These may be simple questions for some, but is there a beginner wiki somewhere? I wanted to try (emphasize the word "try") to create a simple weather widget, but all the links showing how are down. They seem to be connecting to the old chumby servers.

OK, it looks like those links are broken, but they point to the wiki, and the pages seem to still be there.

works, but the JPG file is not found and neither is the sampleclock.fla file.
Hmmm, OK - its probably the case that that stuff hasn't worked for a while. I'll see if I can find it all and get it back up.
This has been resolved... was just an issue of a rewrite on the old server that didn't get transferred to the new one. It didn't affect wiki functionality itself (which is how it got past testing), but was responsible for keeping the old links working.
Let me know if any of the links are still broken!
FYI, the links don't work for me. I get a 404 from an nginx server that must be what's now running on files.chumby.com
OK, the file links should be working now. I had apparently missed the widget example code when I was building the new files.chumby.com.
Hey developers, which version of FlashDevelop would work best for building some widgets? Or if you have other favorite tools please share.

Blue BuddyOkay, I should know this, but now that the system is down, once you write a widget, where do you put it? I'm assuming on a usb stick but does it have to have a certain name or be in a certain directory?
When I made widges before I put them on the service.
