There are a couple of threads on this topic here and on the blog - the reason is that, as a hardware device, we have to certify the device for each country's equivalent of the FCC, we have to get the necessary import certifications, we have to meet whatever other local requirements there are (for instance, Canada requires bilingual documentation), and find shippers that will deliver directly from China to each country.

This process is currenlty underway, however, it takes time.
