I decided to have another look at this - actually I was hoping to convert the national rail json feed in to an rss feed and use the chumby rss reader to display without any chumby development needed.

It's quite strange though - even in the yahoo pipes debugger the data sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.  It looks like the official API is here:

http://www.livedepartureboards.co.uk/ldbws/

but that's SOAP which I don't think yahoo pipes or AS2 can make sense of

I've also found this URL which has the train times in the HTML, which is probably more comparable to the original app

its so flakey, one min it works, the other it doesnt. ive tried to get it working again but I just cant... the source code it there. Also, are you sure chumby accepts as2? I think it takes 3???

I've made an app that pulls a JSON feed of train times, its works on the previewer [http://www.chumby.com/guide/widget/train%20test%203] (and locally), but it doesnt on my Chumby! Its AS2 on flash player 10

could anyone have a look and see what im doing wrong?

If it's AS2, please target Flash Player 9 or earlier.
