Topic: No Stations on Shoutcast Radio

For the last two days, I can find no stations on Shoutcast Radio.  If I search for BBC, KCRW, blues, jazz or anything, no stations are returned for me to select.  Shoutcast seems find in my PC Browser.  Does anyone know what is up?

The SHOUTcast web services are currently down - not just for Chumby, but also iPhone/iPod/iPad, Android, Roku, etc.

The web site is stlll functional, but all other services are down.

It looks like they've fixed the issue - there will probably be some stale data, but they should play.

Shoutcast stopped working again on Sony Dash.

@verycd - Are you not seeing the playlist at all OR are you not hearing any audio?

Hmmm it looks like there are still some issues at SHOUTcast - they're redirecting back and froth between URLs, never getting out of a loop.

For instance, one of the stations resolves to http://65.60.49.202:9004, however, when you fetch that, the server generates a redirect to http://65.60.1.146:8004, which in turn redirects back to http://65.60.49.202:9004.

However, many of the stations seem to be working properly.  I have also noticed that search is returning a much smaller list of results for some very common searches.

All in all, it looks like they're still experiencing issues at their end.

I have had the exact same problem on my Chumby8 for some days now. All stations are showing and playing with no problems on my PC, my iPhone, and my Squeezebox. There does not seem to be any logic in what ShoutCAST does find on my Chumby8 and what it does not. As a result, all of my wakeup alarms are broken. What is going on?

It appears the upstream SHOUTcast service is down yet again.  We're confirming.

As of 13:45 PST I believe this is back up and running again properly on all of the devices I have tested. Can anyone else confirm?
