Topic: Photo widget limitation of 999 seconds means 200 photo limit

The maximum lifetime of a widget is 999 seconds.
Say I have 500 photographs, each of which displays for 5 seconds exclusive of the 1- to 3-second transition period.
This means that I need at least 1500 seconds to display all 500 photographs, but Chumby only gives me 999 seconds.

Could we increase the maximum lifetime of a widget somehow?
I don't believe that "forever" is reliable because after a couple of days I find my Chumbys hung or dead.

Thanks in advance.

Well, one thing you can do in the widgets is save the position of the last photo shown, so that when the widget comes back around (which could just be a second copy of the same widget), it just continues where it left off.

The user also has the option to "pin" the widget.

I opted to create multiple widgets with 200 pictures each.  Thanks for the information.
