Topic: Can I get dual alarms on Infocast 3.5?
I was wondering if there is a way to get two different alarms for me and my wife. One at 6am and the other at 7:30am with different sounds?

Yes. The device supports a single "quick alarm", but as many "custom alarms" as you wish. You can do more with custom alarms - the "quick alarm" is just a simplified UI for casual use.
How does one go about in adding custom alarms (on the Infocast 8)?
The Infocast 8" does not currently support custom alarms.
Ah. Any thoughts on flashing the Infocast 8 with the standard Chumby firmware instead of the Best Buy version? I'm itching to experiment.
You can't put the 3.5" firmware on the 8" unit - they're entirely different processors, and you'd just get a brick.
How about just changing the flash control panel app? Any good ways of hacking the Infocast to be more like a regular Chumby?
Not at the moment - the Infocast has a different framebuffer architecture which the CP for the smaller devices doesn't handle.
It would be pretty slick, down the road, if the infocast 8" will be able to run the CES shown Chumby 8" firmware.
