Topic: profile.xml in /psp/ or /mnt/storage?

Hello,

I would like to add a custom widget permanently. It uses a ruby daemon so it can't be added via the website. Is there a way to do this without having to plug in a USB stick all the time?

I tried putting a profile.xml in /psp/ and /mnt/storage but that didn't help. Is there another search path for a profile.xml file? And if not, is it possible to get the source code for the control panel to hack it in by myself?

Greetings,

Re: profile.xml in /psp/ or /mnt/storage?

Right now, it's only looking at /mnt/usb - I'll see if I can add some additional paths.

Re: profile.xml in /psp/ or /mnt/storage?

That would be great. Could you please notify me, when that works?

Re: profile.xml in /psp/ or /mnt/storage?

Starting with Control Panel 2.8.75, it will look for:

/tmp/profile.xml
/mnt/usb/profile.xml
/mnt/storage/profile.xml
/psp/profile.xml

...in that order, the first match will be used.

Duane, can you tell me the release schedule for Control Panel 2.8.75? It would help me planning my schedules.
