If you just want to ensure that no widget can connect to the internet it should be enough to create a manual connection with invalid IP/DNS. If you are running my offline-script this shouldn't make problems. (At least I hope so - I haven't tried for a long time now and don't want to touch my settings since my network-setup is a bit complicated wink )
