Topic: Permanent clock overlay

You know, an option to have a permanent small clock in the lower right or left corner would be nice.  Something that doesn't take up much screen real estate, just enough so you could always know the time...

It's not a completely dead issue - still being considered for a future update, if we can solve the problems outlined in the referenced thread.

Hate to drag this old issue up apparently, but has anything further been considered since the many threads in 2008 to adding a bar at the top or bottom that shows the time/date?  Seems that if all the widgets are flash based that having a tick in the control panel that turned the band on and then just resized the apps to the remaining screen space might work (though I havn't looked at the api - so I could totally be off on this).  I saw something about an overlay etc.  It wouldn't have to be huge. 

I just think the big thing is overnight to see the time - which I know can be done with a "clock channel" set to display from x time to x time every day.

Anyway, just wanted to see if any further consideration is being given or if it's a dead issue at this point.  Seems to be a very frequently requested item.

Again, sorry for bringing up an old topic - but as a new user, I'm curious.
