I second that request! That would be a very useful feature!
I haven't received my new Chumby One yet but a easy to read wifi signal level indicator is a must if it's not already included!
How about a widget that checks the connection and internet speed directly from the device?

There's already an indicator for wifi signal strength - this thread is asking for a similar indicator for the FM radio.
