If I knew Flash, my first clock widget would simulate this:

It's a pyramid clock that holds the time pointer fixed while moving the reference numbers, opposite normal clocks.

The top little pyramid is the second "hand" and rotates 90 deg every 15 seconds.
The second stage is the minute "hand", while the third phase is the hour "hand".
The base holds a white reference line to show the current time.

The pyramid begins the day (12:00:00) as a perfect pyramid, but morphs into different shapes as the day goes on.

I have one of these clocks in my home and find it very interesting.  Any way someone could create this as a Chumby widget?  Seems like it might be a challenging project, though I have no idea of the scope of Flash programming.
