Topic: Windsurfing / Kiteboarding Widget

Hi,

Just started kiteboarding and using an iPhone application called "Wind Alert"... It would be cool to have an ambient display of conditions for outdoor sports.

Specifically if it boiled things down to "Don't bother" or "check it out" to get more detail because things are improving, or "Wow, it's great" to drop everything in the car and go.

One would be able to enter 2-3 spots that you like and then see web cams of those spots, and conditions. I'd happily accept advertising for this... or pay a modest subscription fee. (Couple bucks a month.)

I'd build it, but I'm not geekly like that.

(I'll suggest it to the Wind Alert folks as well)

I have my chumby using one of the (many) image display widgets to show me these images as part of my widget rotation:
