Topic: Problems booting Chumby

Hi

I was worked with my chumby on a QT application, and suddenly appearing many random lines on the LCD, after that  my chumby spend five minutes to boot, I've already have a serial connection with my chumby, the UART output is:

Checking CP hardware version information...
CP didn't wake up! Kicking the UART and trying again...
CP doesn't exist or will not wake up, cannot read hardware version...
Response from CP:
CP didn't wake up! Kicking the UART and trying again...
CP doesn't exist or will not wake up, cannot read hardware version...

This is a problem with the crypto processor?
How can I fix this problem?

Best Regards

Carlos

Re: Problems booting Chumby

Hmmm, well, the crypto processor can't be completely dead or the device would not have turned on at all, since it's the device actually monitoring the power switch.

The main processor communicates with the crypto processor using a serial port - is it possible you've somehow taken over that /dev entry or otherwise messed up the serial communication between the processors?
