Topic: Developer API for Widget adding?

Could chumby publish a API for the web interface. For example:

If I want to let people subscribe to my widget from my website I just have to give them a link and it will auto add it to their default channel.

It would be very very coolc

That's already on the list for the web guys - not sure when they'll get to it.

Actually this can be done,

1. Go to the widget guide http://www.chumby.com/guide
2. Find the widget that you want to add.
3. Under the title and author, you will see a link for add to channel or send to chum. Copy the Link Location for add to channel.

With that link, it will redirect people back to the chumby.com website and either request they login and then provide them with a option to add the widget to any of their channels.

Its not an API, but its really much easier than one. smile
