Topic: External LCD display attached to the chumby?

Hi, how can an LCD monitor be attached to chumby, so that it displays what is currently playing at the touchscreen?  Some kind of usb-to-video adapter ?... somehow redirecting the output from /dev/defaultmonitor to /mnt/usb?, opinions greatly appreciated.
