The local San Francisco CBS 5 news channel did a story on the NextBus service that operates the MUNI arrival prediction for the city. And you might know that I wrote a widget that will show you the next 3 arrival times for a particular stop using their data.

Well the director of engineering at NextBus has a Chumby, and he managed to get it into the studio for the filming:)

32 seconds into the clip, his Chumby makes an appearance. I believe it is running the NextBus widget, but alas, the only version I caught was the web compressed version and I can't really tell.

Now I might redesign the widget UI to a black background with mock amber LED display to fit into his lab there.
