Topic: C8 Pandora not working [7/15/12]
The widget will launch with it's slpash screen and then says "I'm sorry, but Pandpra is currently not available". however it works on my PC and phone. Anyone else seeing this?

Me too. It is doing it on my C8, plus it also does it on Zurk's offline firmware. Funny thing is, I have my alarms set to Pandora and they will play fine. I just can't change the channel I wake up to because Pandora won't load to allow me to change it.

Same here. I actually came to the forums a couple hours ago, but since I hadn't seen posts I thought maybe it was just me. I think it's time to start looking at pianobar for the chumby!

The "mungboy" server on AWS became unresponsive - it's responsible for doing the authentication with Pandora and some other third-party services.
We just created a new instance and pointed the EIP to it. Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to do a full root cause analysis.

I figured out a fix for those that is still wasn't working!
All you need to do is clear cache and cookies on your internet browser.

Yeah, and that will magically fix a server that authenticates Pandora accounts on behalf of a chumby 8. Brilliant!

I actually messaged him privately (thinking he might be a spammer), but he was just trying to offer some constructive help (since many internet-related problems users experience are usually related to cache/cookie issues on the client). Misguided, maybe... but at least he was trying to help
