and returns a 404, where is the correct link?

a side question, I understand that webcam/microphone functionality is limited by flashlite not actionscript correct?

I had seen on the forums that webcam support was not available, but Im seeing some apps that are suppsedly working on flashlite 3.1 (which I thought chumby used)

That "Firmware" page is apparently no longer relevant.  Regrettably, links referencing it were not fully removed - they are now removed.

If you'd like to run AS3 on your Infocast 8", you might want to consider using the chumby 8 software on your Infocast.  Check the forum threads for details - This is NOT supported by Chumby Industries.
