Topic: installing scratchbox on 64 bit kernel

Can someone point me to a HowTo for getting scratchbox up on a 64 bit (ubuntu 10.04) system?  I've gotten an install up and running that could cross-compile hello-world, but I have never solved the problem of getting an emulator installed for "cpu transparency". I gather the emulator only works in 32 bit and requires the 32 bit libs.  I've got the libs, and manually installed the emulator from a 32bit repo using dpkg, but I can't get sb-menu to acknowledge its existence.  Clearly I am missing some setting or what-not.

Anybody got a clue for me?
