Topic: craigslist, but no freecycle?

The craigslist widget needs one more level of advanced settings, being able to select subcategories underneath the categories. Also, is it possible to create a similar widget for the local freecycle yahoo groups?

It's all about whether there are publicly accessible feeds or APIs for fetching information.  I'll ask someone look into freecycle - thanks for the tip!

The freecycle groups are often restricted to members only (to keep down spam issues).  As a result you need to have a login to access the messages.  That and the yahoo system doesn't always make it easy for a programmer to 'scrape' or otherwise extract the data from simple HTTP get calls.
