I am thinking about getting a chumby, but i have one major question that needs answering, Can you go on the internet with it? Like google or soccer.com or apple.com?

Currently there are no widgets which are for general internet browsing.

Although there's a post somewhere about getting the text-only browser Lynx working on it.

I occasionally do use Lynx. Sometimes, all I want is the content. It's not any plainer than RSS feeds.

Has anyone gotten Deng to work on the Chumby?  Is it possible that it can be converted to a little browser?

Actually, I was thinking Lynx, which I do use occasionally, but it's really Links that he has running on a Chumby.

Both are text-oriented browsers:
