Topic: Channel change alarm, "don't show alarm screen" greyed out?

I have set up an alarm that activates night mode at midnight, and would like it so that I don't have to tap "turn off alarm", so that it simply switches to night mode as and when, but the "dont show alarm screen" option is greyed out... any thoughts?

the settings are as follows; daily, at 12:00am, for 05 play beep (to notify me that its going into night mode) snooze for 01 (as i cant find a way to disable that) and then action "go into night mode"

If you have it use a default sound you can not disable the alarm screen. If you did there would be no way to shut off the sound. See this post, http://forum.chumby.com/viewtopic.php?id=1655. I believe the new beta has a way to select none, but that still is not what you are looking for. Probably your best bet would be to use an mp3 file as your sound, create a playlist for that sound and add that playlist to your mystreams. You can then use that MyStream as your alarm.
