Topic: Thinking about buying a Chumby...

But I have a question first. I can see that the Chumby streams internet radio. Will it also play the music stored in my computer via a wireless network, or does it only play it via an iPod?

And if I can play the music that is in my comouter, which file formats will it not support?

At the moment, we support playing music from your computer using SlimServer.  SlimServer will transcode music from whatever format your computer supports to an MP3 stream - it works on Windows, Mac OS, and various flavors of Linux.

Some Mac folks have also had luck with Nicecast.
