Topic: Planned chumby case mod
I bought one for my wife and it seems pretty great, so now I am thinking about getting one.
I am thinking I could get one, and re-chassis it into my clock radio:
The basic plan is to hook up the audio output to the nicer one in there. The display on my current clock radio has always been too bright, so I thought about cutting it out, doing a bit of dremel work and sticking the Chumby in there.
So here are the questions:
1. I read some people got phidgets working with this. This would seem ideal to get some of the buttons and knobs working on the radio. Any pointers?
2. Is there a documented disassembly with measurements of the different parts?
Anyway, thanks for any advice that can be offered...
